Still Playing Past Midnight
It's exactly 12:20 a.m. on a Tuesday morning. Or it could be 12:20 a.m. on a late Monday night.
Which ever way you use the time, it's still late. A man my age should be asleep by now.
I never was someone who blindly did what others were doing, 'just because'. In fact, I wasn't the kind of kid that used that line on my mother.
The main reason is because my older brother and sisters never got what they wanted using that line. It's true that we are essentially set by the time we're 5 to 10 years of age.
